Libs, and the dem establishment especially, are institutionalist to the core. And they think that this kind of argument will work on voters. The institution will govern, and the other guy will wreck the institution... so the choice is obvious.
It's hilarious to me to listen to the lib talking heads say stuff like "Voters need to vote for democracy," by which they mean we must vote for Biden. And then if Biden loses - they'll blame voter apathy. I'm not apathetic. Like many voters I'm actively engaged in not voting for Genocide Joe.
