It's an absurdist slice of life that's done in sketches some of which are part of an overall episode story and there's a bit of a season arc (it only got one season). Azumanga Daioh is probably the closest but it's really doing its own thing.

Also every once in a while it animates super minor stuff in a super over the top way that reflects how the moment feels irl
