The funniest part of
whining is that they will simultaneously act as if “geek culture” has some collective claim/say over the franchises it fetishizes but then also will defend capitalism to the last. They hate content being crafted to appeal to the “normie” audience but also genuflect to a system that incentivizes appealing to the mass market dollar.
