      I mean. True, but also people with the means are already leaving. Many will manage to leave before getting swept up in this, though if they went for full mobilization they could certainly restrain many more from leaving after that point. The idea of Israel as a place where jews from all over the world immigrate to is already not looking nearly as appealing as it did 6 months ago, if they start restraining people from leaving and pressing them into military service I think it'll be dead for a generation. (assuming isntreal even survives that long). I guess this guy is betting they wouldn't dare. Perhaps wrongly.

          it honestly gives me great hope. If Oct 7th turns out to be the first domino in a chain reaction that leads to the economic collapse of israel... Well let's just say I'll be rejoicing. It certainly seems to be hurting them, but whether it's recoverable remains to be seen.
