Unlear the exact diagnosis. I suspect that he had some bleeding in there. If that was the case often they have to open up the brain sack and let the extra blood out. Otherwise the skull can get so full of blood it squashes the Brian. Staples are often used on the head instead of stitches because of how round thr area is. It is just easier.

I mean, it kinda is. However he was a hypochondriac. He spent his whole life being scared and none of the thing he worried about got him. It was likely the things he did because of thst fear that got him. It is best to just accept that is the cost of playing the game. People ask me all the time if they are going to die. I tell them of course, we all do. Worrying about that instead of how to make things better in the time we get is the greater death, and more paperwork so I intend to see them safely through my shift at least. However that last bit isn't specifically applicable to this situation.

I can't not worry about my inevitable death. There are a lot of really horrible ways to go, and oblivion in itself is terrifying. I don't think my mind was meant to contemplate the end of its existence

Nah, the cool thing is we can't die. Or well we probably can't. If you die you don't exist anymore. If you don't exist you can't be dead. So you can never die.

glad to see somebody else expressing this

biggest fear is your conscious experience just pauses until the universe goes through some HUGE NUMBER to the POWER OF MORE HUGE NUMBERS of iterations (singularity, big bang, expansion, decay, quantum tunneling event, big bang again) until you plop right back into that iteration exact in nearly every way and just restart.

maybe you live your life again but there are tiny differences but you don't remember because you were briefly decoupled from your squishy brain and all the memories inside it

be cooler if you just slip into a dis associated state where the last microsecond of consciousness just becomes stretched to infinity like you are entering a black hole but you basically give birth to your own tiny universe to exist in

You don't have to and it's senseless to do so. It happens and you can't control it at all aside from delaying it potentially. It's the most whatever happens happens deal. I'm not into dying but I've experienced more than enough to know it's a thing that happens what the hell and sucks but thsrs literally all there is to it.

I'm not sure what has lead you to believe Matt Christman is a hypochondriac, I don't cushvlog because I'm sane so maybe that's the reference. But the bigger 'wait wut' is you saying people ask you all the time if they're going to die? You gotta explain why people are constantly asking you whether or not they'll die, cause most people understand mortality and aren't just asking around about this. This post gives off the impression you're killing people

Yeah, cushVlogs are actually my favorite bit of the chapo extended umbrella. He is a stronger historian and theoritician than the other chapos so when he has a good tangent it is really intresting

He's the best guy but cushvlog is a bit too unfinished thought for me and the weird cult around it doesn't help. I'm suspicious of anything thst associates itself with lsd

He does use the acid Marxism framework but his points are still rooted in materialism. It is ❄️ I don't trust. I feel like lsd just reinforces the ideas you have but stimulants cook your brains till you have weird ideas

They must be a doctor or something, that would explain it better than being a mass murderer (I hope!). Also, you are correct that it's a reference to Matt saying multiple times on the cushvlog that he's a hypochondriac. In fact some of the best streams are when he's philosophically working through his fear of death because of his hypochondria
