I just saved everyone from having to read the book watch the tencent version watch the Netflix adaptation.
I've already watched the tencent version, is the Netflix version worth watching?
No
I went into it optimistic (we need more good SciFi) and had no idea it was originallly a Chinese show. The first scene is them showing an early struggle session but portrayed the revolution as very ignorantly killing physicists for no reason other than they are physicists. A lot of the early episodes are really anti see see pee.
Other than that the story was meh and the ending sucked.
I'm pretty sure they didn't do that during the revolution. Feel free to enlighten me.
