I feel like influencers are less than 1% of the population. Besides you're talking about a job that attracts shallow people specifically.

i'm not on instagram. but everyone else seems to be.

i'm not attractive. my brother is. when we walk around together girls look at him. they never look at me. it's ok i am married to an awesome lady. but it's pretty obvious that girls like hot guys just as much as guys like hot girls. and that everyone just settles for what is obtainable at the end of the day.

what most people do is find someone with a personality they can tolerate who is as hot as they can attract to themselves.

there is such a thing as pretty privilege.

hot is subjective but there are general trends among large majoritires of men and women of who they consider attractive.

Some years back a friend of mine proposed a model where there are various different aggregates of personality and physical traits. Within each type, people see what confirms their preferences or dispositions to be "hot", and what goes against these concepts to be "not hot". As a result, there's a consistent clustering of people, and a symmetry in how they order each other, where if you see people in cluster A as a 9, it'll look like hot people getting with hot people, while people in cluster B might each see the cluster A people as a 2 and vice versa. Relativism of attraction with consistency.
