Now if I were a capitalist pig looking to preserve the reproduction of my workforce, given the conditions of Japan as I understand them, I would perhaps look at all of those kikokushijo nowadays, and from them get a delightfully devilish idea to try to establish some sort of system whereby Japanese-born kids get sent to be raised in poor countries, and then once they grow up, they'll simply claim Japanese citizenship and return to the rettō.
