Just picked up my @cybertruck from Kansas City service center got 40miles down road headed home in rain and wiper quit working , now towing back to service center was awesome while it lasted 😂 @Tesla @SawyerMerritt @WholeMarsBlog
Follow up Tesla made it right ordered parts made repair in 2 business days and I love the truck it’s unbelievably good!
As someone who started driving at 26 and knows nothing about cars, I've installed every pair of wipers myself and they've all worked fine for at least a few thousand miles. Just like $10 ones from Walmart, maybe looking at the package when I try to remember how to do it. The very simple mechanism that swings back and forth hasn't had an issue in almost 60k mi because it's a technology we solved in the 18th century. I think I even bent it while fumbling my way through a wiper installation and it's just fine.
Add one more thing to the list of things which immediately threaten to kill cybertruck drivers and everyone around them.
Bazinga AI to detect when it's raining
The Cybertruck has one giant windshield wiper. Iirc the wiper is nonstandard because it has a tiny spoiler on it to stop it from flapping in the wind. This means it definitely isn't spontaneously available at your local Autozone, let alone Walmart.
Single wipers have not been uncommon for years now, it's not hard to make them work (unless you're noted genius entrepreneur Elon "Techno King" Musk lmao)
