I feel like this has been a concept for a long time within imperialist studies, but I can't find it. Surely it's a thing. What would you call it?

    End of history retoric probably. Although the cracks in imperialism are much more obvious than those of capitalism. Additionally, most victims of imperialism know of a pre-imperialist past and imperialism ingrains itself into culture less than capitalism so it's a harder phenomenon to observe.
