    If this interview is actually his understanding of what's happening in ukraine right now it explains a lot. He must just be surrounded by sycophants

      It's been pretty obvious that the whole admin is one big echo chamber. Anybody who expresses opinions that don't conform to the prevailing dogma is immediately ejected.

            My favorite recent example of that was a Politico article about members of the DNC becoming worried Biden won't win re-election. I decided to wade into /r/politics for the first time in probably 5 years just to see their reaction. Every comment dismissing the polling numbers and painting the article as hyped-up nonsense for clicks. From the same people who love sharing any poll that says "X% of Republicans won't vote for Trump"

      Having at least moderate age appropriate cognitive decline in a person who has had several strokes is a factor as well
