I was disappointed with Japan one time when I realized there's not much (enough for me) prevalence of Judo schools in Tokyo. How much of an orientalist that makes me is between me and God. Though people were very patient and kind to me as I spoke with my broken Japanese.
Honestly, finding out that there's not a weirdly large subculture dedicated to [fill in the blank] in Tokyo is a bit of a letdown.
"What do you mean not every Tokyoite owns and regularly wears a papakha and cherkeska‽ Taiga Nozaki literally teaches people in that city how to dance lezginka!"
