Escape from Rebel City is an action movie with a confused and incoherent ideology of rebellion.

    The Capricorn is Oscar bait.

Tomorrow Comes Next Tuesday is a manic pixie dream girl romance. The girl's name is Tomorrow.

Char Broiled is a stoner comedy about an aspiring cook.

The Bogota Maneuver is historical Oscar bait.

Flint! is a musical about Obama.

Steel Mechanic is scifi action about a grizzled man who fixes robots in early 2100s Los Angeles.

Eacape From Rebel City is the sequel to Road to Rebel City and comes before The Battle for Rebel City and it's the only one I do have a solid concept for. Think The Warriors, Streets of Fire and Miami Connection kinda overall universe where everyone knows kung fu, is in a street gang that reflects the subgenre of rock they're totally dedicated to and everyone is in a band or bike gang. Neon.

It's not all there yet, but it's been something sticking to my brain and slowly filling in

I'd be with ya, but I'm trying to avoid the anime side of it, cause Japan kinda has their own version of what I'm going for and it's pretty well established and trodden. I'm going more for a world interpreted by coked up low budget film distributors who would have maybe released a localized dub of those animes on vhs and recorded the voices mostly themselves to save money and paid little attention to good translations. 70s sleaze clashing with 80s glitz is a part.
