    Amazon is better than a lot of comparable environments, but given that it's powering one of the most valuable companies in the world it could be even better, and not just a little better, but a lot better. I think the great challenge of our time is convincing people just how much better the world could be, how much more they could be paid, and so forth. They have only ever seen small incremental changes or conditions getting worse for their entire working life. The only time they have ever seen improvements is by switching jobs to newer outfits, not things getting better at their current job.
