        Bootstrapped myself from NEET Linux nerd to RHEL infrastructure nerd with the help of a relative.

        I am a little scared of being deepsouth wihout the funds for a decent gun, but very excited about the work itself.

          Does the job pay well enough to hopefully allow you to afford a gun soon-ish? I would feel a little sketched out, too.

            Yes, it does, but it's my third priority behing having enough cash to move out should my relationship with the family friend who offered me a room turn sour, and some LONG overdue dental work.
