He only acknowledges that the tide of public sentiment regarding Israel is turning which isn't the same thing as opposing Israel's actions.
His recent statements about how Israel should "finish the job" imply that he thinks they need to genocide quicker not respect a ceasefire.
I don't see any evidence that any less Gazans would have perished under his presidency.
