    As much as I’d miss the diversity and chance to meet new people, I would also hate to be a chinese student studying abroad and getting asked 500 times about social credit scores, xi jinping, and winnie the pooh while I’m trying to eat a burger

      if it makes you feel better, most nationals in my canadian school have never bothered to try speaking or befriending any Chinese students because racism
