        Right, that's the tension that is interesting. That he's profoundly mad/mentally ill, and has a position of immense celebrity, and is a genius or former genius-- to see his ability or inability to express himself creatively despite his deteriorating health and his pathological need to pursue fame/infamy (a self destructive urge which he foresaw as early 808s; which figuratively/poetically resulted in the death of his mother from a botched plastic surgery, which further isolated him, and so on)

        uhhuh. donda 2 probably was the most creative and thought provoking pop music release, since, god, Flaming Lips released Zaireeka on four separate CDs; Kanye's most personal work, a series of unfinished sketches about the dissolution of his marriage, entreating the audience to dissolve the distinction between audience and artist, by playing and altering the tracks through his stem player, the apotheosis of his bric-a-brac, living album conceits on Pablo and then Donda.

        but, yes, everyone is doing that, it's very conventional and boring.
