The bad news? Steve fucking Jobs still has a devoted postmortem following for no fucking reason except that people felt that cool with ipods and iphones while he was being an abusive asshole to everyone around him and stealing credit from people that actually made things. susie-baffled

He will be a footnote in a history book on the last days of the barbaric ideology known as capitalism. With things like the Cyber Truck being noted as one of the many poorly made expensive junk that wealthy fools wasted money on before mankind truely matured.

We will look on this era the same way people look at the eras where we threw pee out onto the streets and burned witches "How did they love like that?"

He might not even be mentioned by name, probably more like "As the hight of the collapse of capitalism, Western resources were poured into the control of a handfull of incompetent US oligarchs, who enjoyed the massive wealth, and delivered little of value in return."

The 2010s-2020s will be seen as the second Gilded Age and Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos will be remembered alright, but as robber barons.

I know that top-cop would only slow the decay (if even that) toward barbarism because socialism is out of the question for her and her associates, but I admit I take some selfish pleasure in seeing just how deeply intertwined my-hero and trump-anguish are now, and being two gigantic bigoted pieces of shit with massive and possibly unforgivable cults of personality around both of them, I will enjoy watching whatever hubris-laden downfall potentially awaits them after "rich, white, and connected" mitigation is factored in.
