I can't defend the OP but whenever I see a screenshot of it posted it's in response to some blue check misogynist bullshit with 100 other fascists cheering in the replies and no one can make me empathize with them
Yeah this is the key takeaway. Saying this for no reason is wild and pretty antisocial. Saying it as a response to men doing something horrible is basically just an edgier version of saying "men are trash," which I believe we had settled the discourse on like 6 years ago.
