    I've tried explaining to Americans many times that this is what is necessary, at minimum, to "stop mass shootings" in the usa. You will be shocked to hear that none of them understood a single thing I was trying to convey, either about the scope of the problem or the incredible violence necessary to solve it.

      It won't help, the real problem lies in incredible alienation and intense competion in the American society. Even successful "gun hunt" would just shift "mass shootings" into "mass stabbings".

        I doubt half the people who commit mass shootings have the physical prowess to pull off a single stabbing

          Exactly. People are delusional to compare knives to guns. The number of fatalities would be significantly reduced if people only had access to knives.

        I agree. America will find ways to perpetuate it's violence until it is dismantled. Modern people have forgotten how terrible are the spear and sword.
