Pokemon is really boring.
It was fine way back in the day, but they've barely changed the formula in its 28 years of existence.
Add new Pokemon to a new region.
Add a new battle mechanic that will be obsolete after this game.
Repeat for 9 generations of games.
That's why people like it tbh, same with the entire "comfy" genre.
