These dudes think they're the "good guys" from that fantasy land where "good guys with guns stop bad guys with guns" BUT THEY KEEP FUCKING MISSING. How are you, a "good guy", supposed to stop a bad guy if you can't even hit anything.

Absolutely loser mentality from start to finish and these folks are proof.

We need a theory of gun morality to explain the new data. The only way to stop a bad guy without a gun is a good guy with a gun, but only with a coherent ideology. Good guy with a gun + wacko terminally online ideology is not useful.

Gun morality is apparently on a can shoot straight/can't shoot straight axis.

Still adventurism. Need a good guy with a gun, a coherent ideology, comrades who are prepared to capitalize on the moment and a specific plan for how the shooting will advance the cause factoring into account an accurate assessment of the proletariat's present sympathies and tolerance for violence. A unicorn in other words.

Meanwhile yamagami is only arguably good and had no coherent ideology or program and got the goods anyway shrug-outta-hecks

"You hurt my mom and ruined my life" is a perfectly cromulent reason to murder someone.

yamagami had a coherent ideology or at least reason, i.e. "my mother was exploited and died in poverty via a cult, I wish to destroy the leader of this cult and if not that then it's biggest enabler". He succeeded due to this very clear, very direct understanding of the target and goal as well as likely the inherent challenge of creating the doohicky due to the gun laws in Japan.
