Doesn't really work, though, if a mod is demoted that would add a lot of extra work. Not to mention that there's a complicated mess of people who moderate several comms, so accounts would have to be per-comm and suddenly you're managing a lot of credentials for many accounts when you could've just had one per person.
i mean i thought a lot of places did that on
and i think ive seen it elsewhere on lemmy i didnt think it would be too much of a hassle although I suppose i dont know if it logs you out of other browsers when you change your password or not. i have no clue if bots were in lemmy back that early or how much functionality they had but you might have been able to use them i suppose
