Hello comrades and welcome to the third improvement megathread of October!
As usual, some discussion ideas:
- Do you want to share something you've done in the previous week? Everything counts, nothing is too small.
- Do you have any goals or plans for next week?
- Do you have any streaks? For example, "sober for one day." Feel free to post your streak every day in this thread.
- If you don't have a continuous streak, did you manage to abstain from something for a day or more?
- Did you come across some useful information or resource that might help others?
Poster caption: "(here is) Your lamp, comrade engineer!

FROM THE OFFICE - TO A MINE, TO A SITE!"
Good luck with your goals!
This week I tried a new habit where I read at least one page of a book after my afternoon nap. It was a success, I did some reading on 5 days. It worked because I'm reading a non-fiction book that you can read just a few pages and get something out of it. I will try to do this regularly from now on.
Overall it was a decent week, aside from reading I also did some meditation and went running on 2 days.
Also, I found a cool website - Open Food Facts - that provides info about food products. It describes how processed the food item is, what is its nutritional quality, how bad is it for the environment and so on.
Ooh, thanks for the link, I've been trying to eat healthier/more ethically and that's a great resource
