It sounds like you haven't talked to a liberal in the last 12 hours. They're fucking ripe and as socialists we need to capitalize on it and bring people into the fold.

It sucks that they won't see it unless it comes to this (my positions are the same as they were yesterday), but it doesn't matter. Surely you know at least a couple of people who are eligible for re-education?

They are SO RIPE. It's wild. I haven't made inroads like this ever.

The popular vote loss has completely devastated them and their worldview.

I know! Reviving my Lemmy.ml account and tenderly walking libs to theory is easy as hell now.

Where I’m at they sure are devastated and confused but I can’t see what comes of this besides “everything bad is because of trump and everyone who disagrees that Biden made everything perfect is evil.”

Good luck where you’re at. Here I’ve got “it’s all misogyny and people not hearing enough about Biden Ws.”

Really? I've just been seeing them dig their heels in and get even more reactionary. I have about as much faith in the American people as I do a in a dried up dog turd.

it open and honest discussion was going to change the world it would have already. only thing that will cause change is a massive decrease in peoples material conditions. which was always going to keep happening, might just happen at a different speed now.

Yeah without the guidance of a socialist party though, the changes caused by massive decreases in material conditions are .... unappealing.

It is our duty to organize wherever we are, and this is an opportunity in spite of everything else about it.

this is just giving up but communistly. we don't really know what's going to work because every revolution is different. all we can do is try. and frankly talking to libs is the least we can do.
