I know this is overanalyzing a joke but if were to take this metaphor literally class conscious is an emotion separate from any other emotion, meaning that it can be coupled with any other emotion in it's expression or be expressed by itself. So that means you can have joyful class consciousness or angry class consciousness and I think that's beautiful
