that's not what i'm preaching and what i'm saying is that the focus on the fingers is misplaced; i get it because they're the ones committing the violence but they outnumber everyone who would take action at a rate of millions to one.
if everyone spent themselves attacking the fingers; the other hand isn't even going to be aware that it happened, much less the other appendages, and the head still gets what it wanted in the first place. passion is useless if it's not tempered with thought.

I'm not even proposing nonviolence I'm just saying that random unorganized acts of individual violence are unlikely to yield results
