      Relatable.

The dude's a sicko for sure but after learning about his upbringing feel a large degree of sympathy for this man. It's a shame that he's achieving more or less exactly what the bastards that broke his child mind had planned for him. My sympathy is offset heavily by all the fuckshit he's going to do and the damage he's already done using his outsized influence to promote deranged ideas.

But yeah this dude never had a chance to be normal and his story about heroin use is similar in trajectory, if not outcome, to so many addicts. like me

Yep, understandable. His example sounds an awful lot like he was trying to self-medicate undiagnosed ADHD symptoms in maybe the most fucked up way possible, which I'd find tragic if he weren't a goddamned ghoul from a powerful family of ghouls, because you know full well he isn't going to show that same sympathy and consideration towards regular people who are struggling with addiction. And of course we live in the reality where Hyannis Port didn't have an "ironic" yacht club grunge scene.
