Hello comrades and welcome to the fourth improvement megathread of November! bonfire

As usual, some discussion ideas:

  • Do you want to share something you've done in the previous week? Everything counts, nothing is too small.
  • Do you have any goals or plans for next week?
  • Do you have any streaks? For example, "sober for one day." Feel free to post your streak every day in this thread.
  • If you don't have a continuous streak, did you manage to abstain from something for a day or more?
  • Did you come across some useful information or resource that might help others?

Lost the job I got while back and now climbing out of my depressive episode been doing what I can to focus on my health as I apply and wait to more places.

    cw diet/exercise

Still do both hardest part was not eating my feelings but I've managed, I was a bit ambitious thinking I'd get my weight down in a year. At this rate it will prob take me 2 or 3 years of dieting and working through things. I do look better than ever at least and I'm getting closer to that pull up bet in 6 months I'll do it I think.

Also back on the audiobook grind, I'll try reading normally (got will to change on a tab rn) but those moments where I want to rot having something on to listen to helps.

What audiobooks are you listening to? I have a recommendation, it's called How Not to Diet by Michael Greger. Check it out if you are interested in nutrition and weight management
