A ghost gun can be stripped down and segmented between its 3d printed polymer parts, and its metal parts, in the span of like an hour by someone who knows how to assemble and disassemble firearms, and maybe six by a novice. This dude had what, 72 hours? He should've had the metal parts dumped down a sewer grate in a different state, and the polymer pieces either melted down with a butane torch or stripped down and scattered to the four winds if the polymer was too tough to melt that way.

    You don't keep a disposable piece like that, and you especially don't stay one state away from where you did the deed when you can get from like New York to Tennessee in anywhere from ten to fourteen hours.
