i wonder if the "left and right" would be as united as they say if the shooter in question wasn't white. it saddens me to see all this effort in social media to get this guy out of jail when there are so many innocent people in america being sent to prison or worse, executed (marcellus williams). if its really just about the act, why are they so focused on the individual like a celebrity? is it just american culture?
America does have a history of turning everything into a celebrity, but i think it has more to do with western individualism as in trying to make someone a Hero or Martyr that will save them
