We know the CIA was there, because even the NYT reported on it (because they tried to drum up sympathy because those guys might be in danger from Putin boo-hoo)
I've talked to a troop who proudly talked about being there in like 2021 lol. I'm just like "thanks, but I don't think you're supposed to be telling me this are you?" (I didn't actually say that)

There's video of NATO troops in caravans of tanks just rolling around Ukraine. So lots, I imagine.
