The Liberals, headed by Trudeau, have not been doing so hot lately. Polls have been rather poor, showing the party far behind the Conservatives, and the Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland (an outspoken apologist for Ukrainian Nazis) resigned recently, with more MPs following her lead. Trump's return to power has shaken the Canadian establishment due to his threats to impose massive tariffs on Mexico and Canada, which will have substantial economic consequences given that Canada sends most of its exports to the US, compounding the economic malaise that has affected most of the world over the last few years.

With all this bad news, there are rumors and reports that Trudeau will soon resign, ending his nine years of rule. His fall would be yet another casualty in the wave of incumbent parties falling across the imperial core, only to be replaced by more conservative parties that have very similar policies but wish to cast all blame and hardship onto minorities.

Israel-Palestine Conflict

If you have evidence of Israeli crimes and atrocities that you wish to preserve, there is a thread here in which to do so.

Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Examples of Ukrainian Nazis and fascists
Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Sources:

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.
Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
Simplicius, who publishes on Substack. Like others, his political analysis should be soundly ignored, but his knowledge of weaponry and military strategy is generally quite good.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ A few different pro-Russian people gather frequent content for this channel (~100 posts per day), some socialist, but all socially reactionary. If you can only tolerate using one Russian telegram channel, I would recommend this one.
https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.
https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday ~ Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.
https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ A big Russian commentator.
https://t.me/rybar ~ One of, if not the, biggest Russian telegram channels focussing on the war out there. Actually quite balanced, maybe even pessimistic about Russia. Produces interesting and useful maps.
https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.

Pro-Ukraine Telegram Channels:

Almost every Western media outlet.

Made the mistake of checking up on NATOpedia articles about Russia and Ukraine.

Using the Russian spelling for Russian legal entities? Nah, the LPR is definitely called Luhansk People's Republic.

An article about a classification of legal entity that exists solely within Russian law (Republics of Russia)? Umm, actually Crimea, Donetsk, and Lugansk don't count because there isn't international recognition of those legal entities' status in Russian law.

Ukraine's claim of North Korean troops? Treated as fact.

Russia blew up their own dam for some reason? Fact.

The images on the main page about the invasion are all Russian casualties or supposed Russian war crimes. Obviously Ukraine hasn't had any losses worth showing, and they definitely haven't committed war crimes.

Wikipedia has the absolutely ridiculous policy of using colloquialisms rather than official names. That's why you get Western name order for Japanese people, the article for Türkiye still being called Turkey, and amazing lines like "The Chinese Communist Party (CCP), officially the Communist Party of China (CPC)"

I understand it for some circumstances, including Turkey/Türkiye where it's a commonly known thing with a different enough name that's much more common than the actual name (especially one that's untranslated and has diacritics). But when the names are closer (like CCP/CPC) and/or less confusable (like Czech Republic/Czechia), and especially if the topic in general is less common (like Luhansk/Lugansk), I think it's better to go with the official name.

For eSwatini they finally decided to move from "Swaziland" to "Eswatini" a few years ago (I think the government itself actually uses capital E in English for some reason). But they're still stubborn about "Czech Republic" even though that change is much older and Czechia is already pretty common.

I support @Cambial Yellowing's decision to remove the LPR and DPR from the list of republics. Indeed, I personally believe that Crimea should be removed as well. I disagree with the notion that we accepted that with Crimea; I personally never accepted the situation with Crimea, although I wasn't around to challenge its status up until now. In terms of the reality on the ground, Russia's annexation of the four territories did nothing in reality. It was all on paper, and nothing on the ground actually changed in comparison to the pre-existing military occupation.

The borders are also highly inaccurate in the new version of the map that has been edited by @ProjectHorizons, because significant chunks of northern Zaporizhzhia Oblast and northern Donetsk Oblast are not under Russian control, including the crucial city of Zaporizhzhia. This is not just a small discrepancy with the border (which you might be able to argue with Kherson and Luhansk); this is a massive anomaly that we simply cannot ignore. It is incorrect to say that Russia has annexed these regions in reality; in reality, significant areas that Russia claims to have annexed are still under Ukrainian control.

So the LPR and DPR became actual Republics within Russian or just Oblasts like Kherson and Zaporizhzhia?

Yeah, they're Republics, like Crimea. I think all three of those are Republics mainly to avoid a "downgrade" in status from pre-annexation. Crimea was an Autonomous Republic within Ukraine, and existed as a nominally independent Republic for like a couple days before being officially annexed. DPR and LPR of course were independent Republics for years. Since Kherson and Zaporozhye were still just Oblasts of Ukraine, they just got Oblast status in Russia.

The rest of the Republics are based on ethnic minorities (e.g. Chechnya) so it might seem a little weird that those three have the same status, but regardless they are Republics under Russian law, so they belong on that page.
