I like art and discovering new artists, but for some reason the only popular art types on the internet are photorealistic pencil/ballpoint drawings of celebrities, digital paintings of white women aged 18-23, or cartoons.

Are there any good forums for finding more experimental or conceptual stuff?

Shrigley for attention

First off, DeviantArt, mostly bad, some gems there but from what I've seen it's mostly horny lol, I don't think it has experimental/conceptual stuffeither

Pixiv, maybe, mostly art of anime girls tho, and you have to pay to do things like searching by popularity for some reason, same with DeviantArt, I don't think it has experimental/conceptual stuff

I mostly use Tumblr, Artstation, and maybe Instagram (just make sure to stay private on there) for art . They have a pretty good range of artists, mostly digital art I think, though each website, lends towards certain types of arts, for example, Artstation is for more professional type art, tumblr and insta is for more casual. Insta, for what I've seen, has a pretty good discover feature, once you follow a bunch of artists and tags you like, art similar to it gets shown in the discover tab.

For more experimental/conceptual stuff, I would imagine that to be more on Insta, maybe? Or there might be a blog for that type of stuff on Tumblr. Or you could go on website for art museum and look there
