    Wasn’t he one of the guys involved in the Bone Wars in the 1870s-ish? Dude’s name is almost synonymous with the word “dinosaur” in the US.

    I think the Dollop did an episode on him.

      Yeah guy's life story and rivalry is fucking amazing. Kind of embodies America better than any of our other national legends or whatever. Just two petty scientists BSing and sometimes scamming their way to fame out of spite. Not that they didnt do genuine paleontology
