Was too young for the Bush era so I can't speak on that. I mean, if they were influenced by these businesses and the CIA, then those decisions would be coming from them, not Bush autonomously making decisions.

It's not. Democrats and Republicans are both bad, but Republicans are obviously worse.
Call it whatever you want, but "both sides are the same" is nonsense, and saying it makes otherwise persuadable people think you don't know what you're talking about.
I think it was less that Bush acted like he was making decisions, it was more like he acted like he could barely speak. Like, he grew up in Connecticut, that accent was fake.
