It was at the punk bar down the street and it felt incredible. It’s been a year and a month since I experienced live music, a year and a month since I drank some beers, swam in sound and danced my fucking ass off! IT FELT SO FUCKING GOOD! The headliner was this psychedelic punk 3-piece from Atlanta, and at first I was chilling in the back with my friends, but then I saw one (1) person up at the front dancing, and I was like “fuck yeah”, and went up and danced with her for the rest of the set. We twirled, we skanked, we headbanged, and we told each other it’s gonna be okay. I love u guys, and I’m excited for the time when each and every one of u can do the things that make you feel alive and whole and undestructable. It’s gonna be okay Inshallah.

I hate to take the wind from your sails here comrade, but the disease is still spreading. I've been vaccinated for weeks now, I was first round. I went out a few places at first, feeling safe. What I realized, tho, is the vaccine just makes it so that I know I won't get super sick. Which, I was in very little risk from the disease in the first place. My main concern was killing people's nana's and other vulnerable people. I see hoards of ohioans breathing all over each other, spitting in each other's mouths, bc they think they are invincible and don't care about the rest.

I'm glad you had a good time at the show. I am so, so desperate to have a night like the one you described. But I can't justify it to myself yet. I dunno. Sometimes I think I'm just doing sunk cost fallacy on my lack of socialization.
