    The guy's a conscript. He's forced to be a soldier. IMO he's a victim too.

      No he's not. He could flee the country, he could go to prison, he could permanently injure himsel. There are many ways to simply not be a footsoldier for a genocidal regime.

      In case you weren't aware, there was an israeli Taylor Swift fan who ran a fan account on Twitter who famously went to prison rather than participate in genocide.

        True I would refuse too. But I know I'm particularly anti-authoritarian. I can imagine this would be a big deal for some young people especially with family and social pressure going on.

        It's not? When I was young in the Netherlands it was a big deal. Luckily I got disqualified on the medical.

        But I would have expected it to be a huge deal in Israel.
