From what I remember Ashton Kutcher (?!? What ever happened to that guy?) stars as a guy who had terrible shit happen to him as a child, learns how to time travel, and so he time travels and fixed stiff in the past, but ends up just making shit worse. Then he travels back and becomes a fetus and dies?!?!
Wut.
Remember when he was in prison, and went back in time and slammed his hands on to the nails, and back in the present he suddenly had bleeding stigmata?
Wouldn't his hands have healed in the interim? And why would the other prisoner not remember his hands as always bleeding, and not just after he went back in time?
IIRC they were healed over, they were scars. It's the only scene I remember. It was my chem teacher's favourite film so we watched it a few times in class.
Looked up the scene and yes, he goes back in time to give himself stigmata to convince his catholic Mexican cellmate (played by a white guy) he is in direct contact with Jesus.
