      tbh i'm always afraid of scratching the surface of anyone in hollywood that seems based at first because i'm always disappointed

      but every time i accidentally learn something about Boots Riley i'm always so impressed

        Boots is the parenti of hip hop - an open communist public figure standing out in the rain railing against the end of history, all while somehow having only good takes.

        Honestly he's even better than Parenti, who said some (minor) questionable things that didn't age great.
