when I was a teen everyone used to tell me how student politics is radical leftist activist etc. in university I realised it’s just a practice run for young liberal sociopaths. Student unions suck millions of dollars every year and show the masses of students what bourgeois politics looks like in action. But then you come across news like this and realise that not all politics has to be electoral bullshit. We can have radical change. The student movements we hear about from the 60s, 70s aren’t dead.
