how does anyone watch this dunning-kruger chuckle fuck speed talk about something he knows nothing about, then after receiving a well informed answer pretend he can't understand ideas or concepts longer than 2 sentences?

like how fucking idiotic do you have to be to think you know more about economics than a Yale grad, PhD in Economics, published, multi-decade professor

like it is actually pretty simple if both sides are not going to concede or change their minds any debate is just a performance to see who can make it look like they are winning to the public like example ben shapiro talking fast non sense for example is a tatic because if you have to go and qualify his answers it looks like you are on the defensive

These debates are never really about discussion. They're about self-promotion. You "win" the debate when people who didn't know you existed are now clicking the "Subscribe" button your YouTube page.

I'm not going to bother with this shit, because I already know who Wolff is and I have seen nothing to suggest I should care who Destiny is. I don't know what it really says about the participants, but much like the Zizek/Peterson debate it mostly just seems like an online demagogue is desperate to find someone to "fight" in public in the face of a fading audience. Why did Wolff agree to have a discussion with a notorious man-child? Maybe because he's also just looking for a larger audience. Maybe because he just kinda enjoys participating in these spectacles. But I much prefer hearing the professor having a sit-down dialogue with a Chapo than this "Man versus Cartoon Character" display.
