i'm sorry you had that happen to you. it's genuinely incredible how common of an occurrence it was. i actually had someone flick a lit cherry into my eye over it at one point, though that didn't meet with the same raucous approval from onlookers, at least

i wanna say i was 7, maybe a little younger. some people really don't like even the vague notion of someone "telling them what to do" 🙄
