Haven't played it but the developers seem like cool dudes
Holy shit you are right, I just look at the reviews sorted by "most critical" and they are so fucking mad lmfao
when this game launched I was still on reddit a good bit and I remember anytime it came up in general gaming subs people lost their shit. "this game is literally advocating for murder! Could you imagine if it was about nazis killing people, people would freak out!"
there's literally no difference between anarchism and fascism :dril:
I don't even like these kinds of games but I still bought it. It's a quality game if you're into that sort of thing and the devs deserve the support.
it will give support to crime
Surely these people are posting negative reviews on the pages for Postal, Carmegeddon and GTA for supporting crime as well.
Hard at work rn clapping all of the 1-star lib rage reviews with "Not Helpful"
Now I feel bad because I wanted to buy it and support the devs. IIRC they're a worker co-op.
Guess I can at least pay for Dead Cells...
I know that it was published by Means TV, the anti-capitalist media co-op
Honestly, even if the story and gameplay weren't based as hell it'd be worth playing just for the soundtrack
I bought it last year and never played it damn I should start it
If you're a Switch type of person, Tonight We Riot is on sale for a massive discount depending on what country you're in. I picked it up yesterday for $0.20 with tax. Deal is up for another 17 hours.
I just bought like 6 copies before seeing this... Not mad.
Edit: to clarify, it's like $2 on steam
