The inevitable outcome of the next 20 years is China opening up and the west retreating to their own great firewall

A lot of Chinese posters are also /pol/-tier nationalists, a lot of Chinese posters are rabid weebs, a lot of Chinese posters are annoying wonks with Chinese characteristics. There are just a lot of Chinese posters.

Consider it the best shot we have at a peaceful transition out of the US empire. They will never let Japan go, but if China and Japan can be friendly behind the boasting we have a shot of getting out of world war 3. Taiwan is still the big problem in the area since everyone wants to fight over it.

That honestly looks like the path we're on. Whether the EU can be coerced along is a big question.

"In the elusive Hermit Queendom of Southern England, a rabid nationalist cult continue to worship their God-Ordained Queen Elizabeth, as they retreat further into poverty. Their democratic neighbor, the socialist republic of Greater Ireland, Scotland and Wales continue their effort to de-escalate their nuclear-capable sister-nation, but so far have been unsuccessful. The DMZ between the two nations has been increasingly fraught with tension, as starvation becomes a common fact of life, even in the capital, Lon'Don"
