I'm trying to figure out how to pirate movies and TV shows. There are some apps on my FireTV that work fine for pirating movies and TV shows but they don't have everything I want to watch. As far as I know if you want the widest range of access to pirated content you need to use a computer. So if anyone could show me a guide about how to stream/download pirated movies and shows off your computer that would be greatly appreciated. I also need to know how to get a VPN and use it and I would really prefer to not pay for a VPN. Thanks

Also how tf do people use all those cool emojis in comments? I usually use Hexbear logged off but I want to know how to use the emojis

You can actually get a free trial of airvpn I believe if you submit an email address request, it lasts like 3 days. You can also buy a week's worth or something. Other providers may have similar. The cheapest is longer-run though.

Look at it this way: for under $5/month you can have access to movies, tv shows, etc from multiple streaming platforms and stuff not on streaming platforms. HBOMax which is IMO one of the better offerings right now in streaming (but I am biased as I grew up watching adult swim and love turner classic movie junk among others) is $14 a month, as is Netflix. This is significantly cheaper if quite a bit less convenient.

If you mainly download new released stuff you'll get it within a night (an hour or two often), for older stuff it could take a bit longer at times but most usually with decent internet speeds can be had in under 8 hours, at least for movies. For huge TV shows it can take days depending on the sizes involved (although recent stuff, especially streaming rips is going to generally finish in a few hours so long as it's just a season).

If I might make a suggestion? Buy a cheap large (ideally 4TB, but even with 2TB you could store a few TV shows and many movies) external or internal hard drive and store your movies and tv shows on it. You can build yourself a nice home library with a front-end using something like Kodi without having to have a server (you can also use Plex but you have to install the server and client software). If you really only watch stuff once then this may not be the best suggestion and if so disregard it, but if you want to have a collection of some favorite TV shows and movies it works nicely and that way you always have some stuff you can watch if your current stuff is downloading. You can get something in the 4TB range for just under a $100 online (yeah a certain retailer that starts with an A as well as others, in stores you might pay a bit more, maybe $120 but you get the picture).

I dont really want to download stuff, just stream it. Im using a couple different sites rn from the reddit piracy megathread you linked and they are good. One of the reasons why I want to pirate is to not spend any money at all but I might just buy a VPN subscription because its not too expensive and I'd rather be safe than sorry. Thanks for all the info

Also I saw some free VPN called ProtonVPN. Do you know if that would be an option or no? thanks

I always recommend Mullvad but really just make sure you research whichever vpn you want to go with.
