Instead, they must center themselves and erase their victims, and make sure their own cries drown out and silence the voices of those whose flesh they carve. Carnist fragility is never sincere. It's always oppressive and always reactionary. They'll spend paragraphs pampering their ego, but never once consider the perspective of those whose corpses are on their plate
