It's gross. Stop doing it. Whether they're organizing, running for office, elected, overthrowing a county, ect talk about that. Why is it that posts about leftist men aren't swarmed with the horniest fucks hiding behind irony or just outright being creeps? Respect the fems doing work too. They don't want to log on and see your lonely ass talking about their feet, flushed reacting, or however you choose to express your creepiness.

Can't think of anything else to post? Go away.

Edit:

"But somebody lusted over a man"

Okay, report that. Comment on that. Don't comment on a post about the misogyny fems have to deal with on a daily basis and say "what about the men." Like I said in another comment: should men be creeped on in the comments? No. Is it a widespread problem for men? No. Do men start at a disadvantage due to their gender? No.

I'm for banning all unsolicited horny posting about women and queers, but leaving horny posting about men in place unless it's specifically rejected.

Horny posting about men is part of what makes this space inclusive for gay and bi men, and it's an important part of the site culture.

Yes, I am suggesting mandatory homosexuality for men. Yes I am serious.

There's also the important distinction to note that hornyposting about men doesn't have the same connotations here or anywhere else on the internet as it does for women. Hornyposting about men outside of spaces specifically intended for it is done tongue-in-cheek, a manner that even people who aren't attracted to men can partake in as part of goofing around. Compared to women, who have to deal with objectifying sexualization and harassment by men at veritably every corner, thirsting over men whether serious or not lacks the power to distress and intimidate said men because it doesn't play into the patriarchal power dynamics of our society; in fact men are more likely to regard it favorably because they exist on the opposite end of the attention spectrum from women. So while objectifying-sexualizing anyone is bad, there's context to consider about why we have to clamp down on it when targeted at women in order to create a safe environment for them here.

Everything you said is true but I do think horny posting about men could stand to have a bit of reigning in too sometimes. It can go a bit overboard around here.
