    You (probably) joke but it's true. It may be extremely paranoid to say this, but I can't help but feel the US government is entirely aware of the propagandistic power of television and have made full use of it in that way for decades, and I don't just mean movies and TV shows.

      Nah, I think you're overreacting, there's no way the US government would use the media to dehumanise the US's enemies. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch a marvel movie where the good guy heros fight terrorists in the middle east with the US army and then maybe play some Call of Duty.
